Lebron VI Akron Release
Leading the way on a big weekend of releases is the Lebron VI Akron, at House of Hoops. The shoe drops ahead of the weekend releases on Friday 3/13 (everything else hits Saturday, stay tuned for specifics). This hometown tribute has an upper detailed like an urban mural with an Akron city-scape, which is set off by a very clean white toe-box. Lebron CTK 3/28 at House of Hoops
The Zoom Lebron VI “Christ the King” is going to be at House of Hoops this coming Saturday 3/28. Not a biblicial reference, the shoe is actually calling out Christ the King High School in Queens, New York, known for their top-tier basketball team (similar to Kobe’s Rice High School relationship) There’s been some confusion over shifts in release date, but now it’s confirmed to be there on Saturday. Zoom LeBron VI Taxi-Inspired
LeBron will show some love for the city that never sleeps by rockin’ the NYC taxi-inspired Zoom LeBron VI in tomorrow nights Knicks/Cavs game. We’ve already seen the Big Apple and Yankees editions, but LeBron isn’t referred to as ‘The King’ for no reason. Here’s yet another New York-themed color-up of the LeBron VI. The upper and toebox are predominantly black; with yellow patent accents and a metallic swoosh. To top it off, the ankle and heel areas are covered in a checker pattern taken straight from an NYC taxi cab. Similar to the other NY editions of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI, these are limited but they’ll be available tomorrow at the House of Hoops in Harlem in addition to four more New York locations listed below. LeBron VI – Ohio State Inspired
Available 2/20, the Ohio State inspired LeBron VI will be hitting all 3 House of Hoops locations, all Foot Locker stores in the state of Ohio, and other select Foot Lockers around the country. The main feature is the reflective 3M material found on the midsole with accents on the heel and tongue. All the reflective 3M will make you want to play at night because they’ll be the hottest kicks on the court – glowing as every car drives by. Check out more shots after the jump.
Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II O.R.A.P “SVSM”
Come to the 2nd installment of Zoom LBJ Ambassador O.R.A.P (Outdoor Rubber Asia Pacific), it becomes a special make up model for street ball lovers in Asia Pacific. SVSM (St. Vincent – St. Mary High School) is a tradition colorway for all LeBron James’ signature shoes to pay tribute to and this time around is on the LBJ Ambassador II. LeBron led St. Vincent to state basketball championships in 2000, 2001 and 2003. He is the only player in Ohio high school basketball history to be named Mr. Basketball three times.
The upper features SVSM team colors in White, Green and Metallic Gold, and the outsole of the shoe is made of Extra Durable Rubber (XDR) for you to play longer during outdoor basketball activities. Now available at our online store.

Lebron VI
The Lebron VI is going to be available in a special NYC version, hitting only Foot Lockers in the next several weeks (it had a brief debut at HoH earlier in November). The wht/wht/midnight navy seen below is a tribute to Lebron’s stellar performance at the Garden when he dropped 50 points on the Knicks. The 3/5/2008 near the heel calls out the date of the achievement. Lebron definitely has some love for NYC, with an earlier tribute shoe being the New York Yankees edition of the V. Could we see him in pin-stripes if he makes the MJ cross-over to baseball? If the Nets never make it to Brooklyn would he think about the Knicks? The latest color-way to release in the Nike Zoom Lebron 6 line-up takes its inspiration from the Dark Knight himself. Designed by Ken Link, they are inspired by one of LeBron’s all time favorite super heroes, Batman. Nike Zoom LeBron VI ‘Witness Gold’ Pack
While the Zoom LeBron VI will receive its general release in the Black/White/Varsity Red colorway next month, Nike has plans to first commemorate the Gold Medal victory by the US Senior Men’s Basketball Team at this summer’s 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. More specifically, there will be a special ‘Witness Gold’ package that celebrates LeBron James’ Gold Medal and includes a pair of the ‘United We Rise’ Zoom LeBron VI, a gold commemorative box and a limited edition t-shirt.
Launching this Saturday at Harlem’s House of Hoops, each pack will be individually lasered by number and is limited to 114 total sets. 66 packs will release domestically, while four stores in China will receive 6 packs each and one lucky China-based store will receive 24 packs. The pack of course is ideally limited to one pack per person, so please refrain from gettin’ your ebay on. On the shoes, you’ll notice the phrase ‘Witness Gold’ embossed along the forefoot support overlay, and King James’ signature and the Gold clinching date of 8.24.08 are also included along the medial collar. Nike Inc’s ‘United We Rise’ graphics are most noticeably found in 3M along the midsole and collar piping.

The LeBrons : Nike Zoom LeBron VI ‘Business’
Nike Basketball is celebrating The LeBrons this fall, and they’re dropping a shoe for each character this Saturday, October 25th! The four character set of LeBron James’ personalities of course includes Kid LeBron, Athlete LeBron, Business LeBron and Wise LeBron, and four versions of the Zoom LeBron VI, limited to 150 pairs each, will be released to tell the unique story of the King’s traits. Six stores will be receiving the pack this Saturday, including the House of Hoops locations in Harlem and Los Angeles, as well as NIKETOWN and Sportsland in Chicago, and Miami’s Shoe Gallery and Cleveland’s Next. The shoes will be sold individually, and each store is slated to receive 25 pairs of each version, accounting for 100 pairs at each of the six doors.
The ‘Business’ iteration of the Zoom LeBron VI conveys the smooth savvy and mature demeanor of Business LeBron’s personality. This man’s swag is undeniable. The upper consists of a pinstriped black wool, similar to the ‘Yankee’ Zoom LeBron V, used on the dominant panel that is drafted off of his trademark suit, and also includes premium black leather along the midsole and toe support overlay for some added texture and quality. A soft grey fabric highlights the heel collar and toe for a nice contrast from the rest of the upper, as well as a more dressy feel. The shoe is also full of details that might otherwise go unnoticed, as the underside of the tongue includes an image of Business, while the tongue includes a ‘The LeBrons’ call-out. Underneath the LeBron logo along the lateral collar and also along the insole, you’ll also find Business’ silhouette in red, and there’s subtle hits of red along the logos and liner as well. Each shoe in the pack has been styled by Nike Basketball’s graphic designer Erick Goto, and there’ll surely be quite a frenzy this weekend at each of the six aforementioned release locations.
